I didnt expect to be this impressed. The wool is incredibly fine and soft, nothing like the rough, itchy kind you might associate with it. The craftsmanship stands out right away: the stitching is neat and durable, and the 24 year size fit my 2.5-year-old perfectly. Its comfortable enough that he never complains about itching or tightness, and its thin enough to sit easily under his bike helmet without any fuss. The denim color also matched the photos exactly. What really surprised me is how the fabric feels overall. Despite being wool, it has a smooth, almost regular-fabric finish thanks to the tight weave, rather than that typical chunky knit texture. The quality and attention to detail are genuinely impressive. Id absolutely recommend it - especially for kids who need to wear helmets. It offers much better warmth than a basic fabric balaclava while still being slim enough to fit comfortably underneath without needing to loosen the straps.

Thick hats don't fit as well under helmets, and it keeps the neck warm at the same time. We've washed it on a 30-degree wool cycle, and it hasn't shrunk at all.
